Valencia? Las Fallas? 43 hours program? Sun?! Last week we were spontaneously asked to join a blogger trip to Spain. Spontaneous means: request on Tuesday, departure on Friday. Sounds good, let's do it! I started accordingly into an adventure, which should be full of 43 hours Pura Pasión.

The main thing is sun! We were invited by Licor 43 , for which we have also already once the new liqueur Orochata geshootet and of course drunk.

Next to us was Frances from zukkermädchen.de as well as the twins Jordan and Loanne from London (http://www.collyertwins.com) and the girls Tara and Larissa from http://www.endlessweekend.nl from the Netherlands. It really has been a crazy weekend! There's a reason the Las Fallas festival has been listed as a World Heritage Site since last year. First things first: It's actually not that easy to describe everything that's going on in Valencia this Fallas weekend. Here is an overview:

For orientation: Valencia is located a good 350 kilometers south of Barcelona also by the sea. On the weekend of March 16 to 19, there was non-stop sun at a good 20 degrees Celsius and Las Fallas and drinks with Licor 43. The creamy Orochata liqueur has been decisive for the destination Valencia. In the region around Valencia, tiger nuts, so-called chuffas, are traditionally cultivated and processed into an almond milk, which is of course also a good basis for a liqueur, but also serves as a refreshing drink to go.

Las Fallas is THE festival in Valencia par excellence. The Fallas make the city go crazy. Admittedly, we have at least heard of Valencia, but never of this festival. The spring festival is apparently absolute highlight with the Valencians as well as incredible many Spaniards who come over to celebrate this spectacle.
