Flush and multifunctional: Binova's sink system can also cut and dry
Flush and multifunctional: Binova's sink system can also cut and dry
Probably the most precious commodity in the kitchen is space. Cleverly allocating it saves time and nerves. For organized home cooks, the Italian manufacturer Binova has now presented the "Multi Cooking System" MCS at this year's Eurocucina, with which culinary delights can be prepared, added to, and finished in a space-saving manner. The MCS consists of two components: a gas hob and a sink or drainer. Both are flush-mounted in the worktop or can be welded onto it. The cooktop comes in a choice of four, five or six burners, arranged either in a row or classically as a rectangle. The Bionova knobs have been redesigned and are now lower and have a functional texture.
The heart of the MCS, however, is the multifunctional sink: Plates and dishes can be placed here, there is a draining basin for vegetables or cutlery, and a cover that serves as a cutting board. All elements glide effortlessly over the rails and are perfectly coordinated with a width of 30 centimeters and a depth of 51 centimeters. The two-tier system is particularly interesting; as a result, unused elements disappear under those that are currently needed. A special feature is the integrated knife block that matches the cutting board. cv
