Full sheet metal: the outdoor armchair by Studio CZYK.

Mint in the green
Developing a piece of furniture from only one material, making use of the many possible production methods - this is the rule Nikolai Kotlarczyk, founder of Studio CZYK, set himself for a design study. In this case, the material was a steel sheet, which was first laser-cut into shape and perforated with a decorative and weight-reducing hole pattern. Then, in keeping with its name, the chair Fold was bent into the third dimension and powder-coated in a pastel mint. With its graphic and light character, the outdoor furniture contrasts with the otherwise massive wooden garden furniture. Depending on the angle of view, the effect and depth of the pattern changes: especially in a natural context, the armchair appears almost scuptural. tp
