A bit of Bauhaus, a bit of Chanel, a bit of dandy: Jori's new "Lagom" cantilever chair effortlessly combines influences from a wide range of stylistic eras.
Joris Armchair "Lagom" is now also available as a cantilever chair. With its tweed robe and red leather piping, the design by Dutch designer Hugo de Ruiter is reminiscent of Chanel's bouclé tweed jackets; the tubular steel construction of the upholstered armrest pays homage to the Bauhaus. Mix and match was already the principle of its non-wobbly predecessor, which has a Scandinavian look with its walnut legs and armrests, but also brings a touch of English dandy chic with its houndstooth design.
